STEP 1

PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE

We know a successful build starts with solid planning. Our pre-construction phase covers
everything—design, budgeting, permits, and scheduling to ensure a smooth and efficient
process. We work closely with you to refine your vision, control costs, and prevent delays. From
innovative building techniques to sustainable materials, we explore the best solutions for your
home. With expert guidance and careful preparation, we lay the groundwork for a seamless
build and a home that exceeds expectations. Let’s get started!

Always ahead of the curve and integrating cutting-edge innovations and sustainable materials into the pre-construction phase to build smarter, faster and more efficiently.

The pre-construction phase typically takes 3 to 6 months, but for some custom homes or complex products, it can extend to 6 to 12 months. Factors like design revisions, permit approvals and site conditions may impact the timeline.

STEP 2

DEMOLITION

Demolition requires careful planning, permits, and safety measures. We disconnect utilities,
salvage materials, and clear the site efficiently while handling hazards like asbestos and other
environmental factors. Our team tackles unexpected issues, ensuring the site is orderly and ready for excavation.

Materials are sorted and disposed of responsibly, with recyclable materials diverted from landfills whenever possible.

We follow strict safety protocols to protect workers, neighbors, and the surrounding environment during demolition.

STEP 3

Excavation and Site Preparation

After demolition, we clear debris and excavate to undisturbed soil for a stable foundation. Our
team ensures proper grading, soil stability, and utility trenching while addressing any
underground obstacles. With the site prepped, we’re ready to lay the foundation.

Before we dig, we locate all underground utilities to ensure a safe and damage-free excavation.

We plan equipment access and staging areas to keep the site organized and efficient.

STEP 4

Foundation Construction

We start by building forms for footings to support the home’s weight, followed by laying rebar for
reinforcing strength. Concrete is then poured and cured, with inspections by the municipality
and engineers to ensure stability and code compliance. Whether a slab, crawl space, or
basement, a solid foundation sets the stage for framing.

We take extra care with measurements, forms, and leveling to ensure your foundation is perfectly aligned and structurally sound.

we use top-grade materials to maximize durability and longevity.

STEP 5

Service Connections

Service connection installation is a vital step that links your new home to essential utilities like water, sewer, gas, and electricity. Our team ensures each connection is properly installed, inspected, and up to code, providing safe and reliable access to everyday necessities. With careful coordination and expert execution, we make sure your home is fully functional and ready for occupancy.

We guarantee all service connections meet local codes with proper permits and inspections.

We ensure service installations are scheduled early to prevent delays.

STEP 6

Framing & Exterior Shell

In the framing phase, your home’s shape, strength, and structure come to life. Our team constructs the skeletal system — walls, floors, ceilings, and roof — with precision. Using quality materials and engineered plans, we ensure a level, secure, and lasting frame.

Every measurement, cut, and alignment is done with accuracy to guarantee a solid and level frame.

We frame with future stages in mind, ensuring smooth integration of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

STEP 7

Framing & Exterior Shell Continued

Next, we enter the Exterior Shell phase, where the house becomes weather-tight and enclosed. We install roof sheathing, wrap the exterior walls, and add protective barriers. Window and door openings are finalized, and insulation plans are set in motion. Waterproofing details are added to protect against the elements. This phase bridges structure and finish, locking in durability and design intent. It’s the last major step before the home turns inward and transformation begins.

Before proceeding, inspections are conducted to ensure the exterior shell meets structural, fire, and weatherproofing standards, giving you peace of mind.

Once the exterior shell is complete, your home is considered “dried in,” — meaning it's protected from rain and weather, allowing interior work to begin.

STEP 8

Exterior Finishing

In this phase, your home’s character truly starts to take shape. We install exterior materials like brick, stone, siding, or stucco, along with trim, soffits, fascia, and eavestroughs. Windows and doors are sealed for energy efficiency and protection. This stage isn’t just about curb appeal — it ensures your home is weatherproof, durable, and built to last.

Exterior finishing is one of the most weather-sensitive phases. Rain, wind, or extreme temperatures can delay materials like stucco or paint, making timing and scheduling critical.

Even the smallest components, such as trim, vents, caulking, and soffits, make a big difference in both performance and curb appeal. These finishing touches pull the whole exterior look together.

STEP 9

Rough-In Phase

The Rough-In Phase is when essential systems like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and gas lines are installed behind the walls. Everything is carefully laid out according to the plans, ready for inspection before insulation and drywall go in. Though unseen later, this step is crucial — it sets the foundation for how your home functions every day.

Although most of what’s installed during rough-in will be hidden behind walls, it’s one of the most critical phases. This is where plumbing lines, electrical wiring, HVAC ductwork, and gas lines are placed, all working together to keep your home functional and efficient.

Everything, from outlet height to vent locations and water line slopes, is carefully measured. Even small errors at this stage can cause major issues later, so precision is key.
